I couldn't be happier with my purchase regardless of any drawbacks people may find. This is simple to get around however by simply adding 10 or so unassigned fixtures at the end of the spreadsheet prior to exporting the file to an LWX file. While I understand completely the need to keep out the ability to add rows, I wish that there was a way to register the app, for those that have purchased a full version of Lightwright 5. It allows the designer true mobility! Between this and keeping pdf's of plots on the iPad, I am never without all the info at my fingertips, and the interface is easily navigable to rectify on my office computer after making updates. This allows me to do that without having to constantly print paperwork, or keep a binder with me at all times. I am a university professor in a small to medium theatre program, but where I am typically keeping track of my own paperwork on my designs here at the university. Never need to print my paperwork again…almostĪpps like this are why I bought an iPad.
